Dr. Ka-Lok Edmund Tse- one of the leading providers of renal care and dialysis in Pasadena, California.

About Dr. Tse

 

Dr. Tse was born in Hong Kong and then immigraded to the U.S. since 1980.  He completed his high school education at Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles, Ca.  He then graduated from UCLA with B.S. degree with magna cum laude in Biochemistry and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  He subsequently earned his M.D. at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa.  His internal medicine residency training was completed at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey--Robert Wood Johnson Medial School in New Brunswick, NJ.  Finally, he finished his specilty training in nephrology at Stanford University, Stanford, Ca.

Since 1996, Dr. Tse, who is board certified in both nephrology and internal medicine,  has been practicing nephrology in Pasadena, Ca.  In addition, he is committed in the teaching program at Huntington Hospital, Pasadena, Ca for the internal medicine residency program.  He is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Nephrology at Western University of Health Science.  He is also active in clinical research and hospital administration.  He has served as the Chairman of the Pharmacy, Therapeutics & Diet Committee (2002-2012), Vice Chairman of the Department of Medicine (2007-2008), Chairman of the Department of Medicine (2009-2010), Vice President of the Medical Staff (2011-2012), and President of the Medical Staff (2013-2014) at Huntington Hospital.  Currently, he is serving as a member of the Board of Directors and an active medical staff at Huntington Hospital.  He is an assoicate medical director at Huntington Dialysis Center and DaVita Huntington Dialysis Center in Pasadena, Ca.

He is honored to be inducted to be the Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN), Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC), Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), and Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine (FACPM).  Dr. Tse was also elected to be the Teacher of the Year twice by the internal medicine residents at Huntington Hospital. 

Dr Tse is fluent in both English and Chinese (Cantonese).  His office staff is fluent in both English and Spainish.
